Joint Admission Committee (JAC) Chandigarh has been constituted for conducting admission process for B.E./B.Arch./Integrated B.E. (Chemical)-MBA Courses based on JEE(Main) - 2023 All India Rank in following participating institutions for the session 2023-24. Registration are currently ongoing and shall close on 22 Jun 2023.

Chandigarh Quota and Outside Chandigarh Quota

There is no Chandigarh Quota for institutes of Panjab University i.e. (i) University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET), Panjab University, Chandigarh; (ii) Dr. S. S. B. University Institute of Chemical Engineering & Technology (Dr. SSBUICET), Panjab University, Chandigarh; (iii) University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Panjab University SSG Regional Centre, Hoshiarpur (UIET, PUSSGRC).

For admission to institutes under Chandigarh Administration, the admissions shall be under two categories i.e. CHANDIGARH QUOTA and OUTSIDE CHANDIGARH QUOTA. Those candidates, who have passed the qualifying examination (12th/equivalent) from schools/colleges located in the Union Territory of Chandigarh and recognized by the Chandigarh Administration, shall be considered under the Chandigarh Quota. All other candidates, who have passed their qualifying examination from elsewhere, shall fall under the Outside Chandigarh Quota. The candidate has to upload the detailed marks sheet of qualifying examination (12th/equivalent) before the last date of registration.

2. Last date for depositing fee in State Bank of India using Bank Challan: 23 Jun 2023 (4PM)

3. Last date to complete online Registration: 25 Jun 2023 (5PM)

Admission criteria

a) All India Rank prepared by the National Testing Agency (NTA) based on score in JEE (Main)-2023 for B.E./B.Tech. shall be used for admission to B.E. / Integrated B.E.(Chemical)-MBA..

b) For admission to B.Arch., All India Rank prepared by the NTA based on score in JEE (Main)- 2023 Paper 2A (B.Arch).

Application fee

Rs.2,800/- for General category

Rs.1,400/- for SC, ST, PwD
